Honoring Nancy Seamons Crookston A Day of Painting Together
Sponsored by the Frank Bette Center for the Arts and the California Art Club Saturday June 29, 9am to 4pm Artists will Paint En Plein air in Alameda in the morning on their own or they can paint from a clothed model from 9am to Noon at South Shore Center, room 215 (across from Trabocco restaurant and by the frog pond) and enjoy a selection of Nancy’s works that will be on display Noon to 1 pm: Register to sell and set up artist’s plein air and figurative works for display on your own easels in the South Shore Center, Center Court area (it can be windy) 1:15 pm: a short talk and share about Nancy 2 pm to 4 pm: Artworks for sale to public South Shore Center, Center Court Across from Trabocco All sales to go through the Frank Bette Center for the Arts. 60% goes to the artists and 40% goes to a fund to create an award in Nancy Seamons Crookston’s Name at the annual Frank Bette Center Plein Air Paintout July 29 to Aug 3, 2024. All donations go directly to this fund. If more than $1000 is raised the fund will be used for future years as well
